Just finished reading this book. Never realised how important Polish pilots were to the survival of the UK in the early 1940's and throughout the 2nd World War. There tally of 'kills' is remarkable. Very informative.
Respect for you! I know majority pelople in UK or other states in west Europe have no knowledge about Poland, and other countries in cetral Europe. You know Stanisław Skalski?

Yes. He is mentioned many times in the book an despite being shot down twice in the Battle of Britain still credited with 17 'kills' in that short period. He had an exemplary carrier serving with the RAF.
Sadly, and to my embarrassment, Polish Airmen and soldiers were unfairly treated by the UK at the end of hostilities as were those who returned to Poland.
